In this episode we sit down with Tia Radforth, a resilient dancer on the brink of her journey as she shares how she navigates the challenges and successes of starting out in the competitive world of dance. We’ll explore the inspirations that drive her and gain valuable advice for other aspiring dancers.

Tia Radforth started dance at 2 years old, she joined competitive dance at age 14 when she joined ADA. From here she worked her way up to the worlds teams in jazz, lyrical and hip-hop. This meant she competed representing England three times and won a silver and bronze medal. She also won hip-hop world champion with her team 5 times over a two year period along with a silver in jazz.
She studied dance at college throughout this, whilst also being in a channel 4 documentary about her dance team and dancing in the Disney series Willow. She also performed in Glastonbury festival, performed on the main stage at Valley Fest and headlined Move It.
She then auditioned for dance universities and secured a spot at a top institution in England, Addict Dance where she is still training. All this has set her up for a future career in dance, but she’s only just at the beginning and the possibilities are endless.
“Dance is my passion, it’s how I express myself. A career in it is something I've been dreaming of ever since I was small, and now it finally feels possible” (Tia Radforth, 2025)
